Hello, I have a very strange issue with a customers Office 2010. In Outlook and Word you can right click and select copy but when you right click and select paste nothing happens. It's blank. Excel is fine though. I have started word in Safe mode and with the /a switch and still the same. I removed all the add-on's and still the same thing. I also removed Office and reinstalled, Same thing.

All other programs cut and paste fine.  It's just Outlook and word. 

Been in IT support for 20 years,  I have never seen this.  Any ideas?

Hi Brian,

Based on your description, this issue only appeared in Word and Outlook. Have you erver tried to copy the content from Word/Outlook to TEXT document?

And you need to check if your computer updated any update recently. As far as I know recently Microsoft rolled out update KB3057839, this KB occurred user's can't paste.

You can check if there is KB3057839 in your computer and try to remove it.

After trying this method if the issue still exists, please let me know and you can provide more information about your issue.

Thanks so much  That did it.  That's a big one,  I looked everywhere online and didn't see this issue.  It's a pretty big one and should be out there.  But hope they send out a patch soon.
