Can't see Configuration partition in ADSIEdit
I have installed Exchange 2010 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 member server in a domain. I did all the preparations (schemaprep, AD prep and domain prep) and installed the Exchange with no problem. I have one Windows Server 2008 R2 DC and one member server
in my domain. I log in with a user who is a member of Domain Admins, Schema Admins and Enterprise Admins groups but, however, when I open ADSIEdit I cannot see the configuration partition!
I thought I am supposed to be able to see something like this... CN=<Organization Name>,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=<root domain>.
Thanks for your feedbakc!

You can Manually add it from adsiedit by going into options and then select Configuration from the second option.

Every forest has one configuration directory partition, one schema directory partition, and at least one domain directory partition
that represents the forest root domain. Every additional domain that belongs to a forest adds one domain directory partition to the forest.
They all exist within the same database file (NTDS.DIT)
The three default Active Directory partitions have the following distinguished names:
Forest-root domain directory partition: DC=ForestRootDomain
Configuration directory partition: CN=configuration,DC=ForestRootDomain
Schema directory partition: CN=schema,CN=configuration,DC=ForestRootDomain

By default Adsiedit.msc will show Domain Partition, you will have to click on Default Naming Context (Drop down) to select the Configuration Partion.
Can you post the exact thing what you see in Adsiedit.mscGulab | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2010 | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2007 | MCC 2011 | Skype: Gulab.Mallah

I do not see any Options in the menus! There is only one Options in File > Options where you can delete files that are saved into your profile from the changes made to your view. I open the ADSIEdit console from Start > Administrative Tools >
