Can't view Public Folder items after Move All Replicas to 2007 SP1 Server
Here is the issue:This weekend I migrated our public folders from a Exchange 2003 SP2 box to a Exchange 2007 SP1 box. There are two issues:1. There are still PF showing up in the Public Folder Instances on the 2003 box. I did see that there were some Replication errors on the Exchange 2007 box: Event 3085 Error 1129 occurred while generating an outgoing replication message. Type: 0x80000004 Altough some of the PF listed in these errors are no longer listed in the Public Folder Instances and seem to be working fine.2. When I click on some of the Public Folders from my Outlook client it shows me an item count but no items are displayed. This only occured on about 15% of the public folders. Some info: All of the public folders now list only the new Exchange 2007 SP1 box in the Replica list.Any help to get these two issues resolved would be great.

Here is an update:So I figured out Issue #2.It was simply a permissions issue. My what we call "1 Account" only has permissions to view the folder but not the content. I verfied with the departments the folders belong to that they are able to view the items just fine.

You said All of the public folders now list only the new Exchange 2007 SP1 box in the Replica list. Please confirm it by using step 3 in my post Please use Get-PublicFolderStatistics to compare between the remained folder and the folder on exchange 2007, see if theres any difference. If all content has been replicated to new server, we can safely remove the instances on the exchange 2003 If not all content has been replicated, please add old server back to the replica list and replicate again, after replicate finished with new exchange 2007 server, we can remove the instances from the Public Folder Instances Moving public folder replicas from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2007
