Can a delegate of a delegate add calendar items for the originally delegated mailbox

OK lets see if I can make this more clear.  We have 3 users.  Manager A, Secretary A, and Secretary B.  Manager A has given Secretary A delegate access as an author of his/her calendar.  This allows he/she to add items to the calendar and then edit or remove those items, but not any created by someone other than Secretary ASecretary A is out on leave and Secretary B is filling in for him/her.

Secretary A wants to give Secretary B the capability to create appointments for Manager A, as Secretary A, so when Secretary A returns he/she will still have access to edit/remove those items added by Secretary B to the Manager A calendar.  They don't want Manager A to give delegation rights to Secretary B, because then when Secretary A returns he/she won't has access to the appointments to edit or remove them.

  1. Will this work to just add Secretary B as a delegate of Secretary A?
  2. Will this work if Secretary B is given Send As... rights to Secretary A?
  3. Will this work if Secretary B is given Full Access to Secretary A?

Hi

You can try to grant owner permission to secretary A on manager A mailbox calendar folder, if secretary A will out of office, secretary A notices secretary B and grant edit or other permission to secretary B for manager mailbox calendar folder, she can remove the permisssion when she is back.

Thank you for the suggestion Wendy, but it does not fix the situation.  If the Manager A wanted the Secretary A to be able to edit all of his/her calendar items he/she would just give the Secretay A "Editor" rights instead of "Author".  So your suggestion to grant "Owner" on the calendar similarly will not work for the given set of circumstances.

Any other means of making this happen as described?
