Can not add a new mailbox. Error: There are multiple primary smtp addresses.
We are migrating from exchange 2003 to 2007. I've got the mailbox, client access and hub transport roles installed. When I create a new user and try to add a mailbox in 2007, I receive the following error and the mailbox is not created. There are multiple primary smtp addresses. Please ensure there is only one primary address for each address type.Any ideas how to resolve this? Thanks

If you're scripting that I'dguess you're supplying a list of proxy addresses and all of them are"SMTP" (in upper-case). That denotes a primary proxy address. Anyother proxy addresses of the same type must be using "smtp" (inlower-case). That denotes a secondary proxy address.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
