I use ADUC to create a new user and mailbox and everything is successful. I get no error messages anywhere..... The mailbox is never created on the exchange box. I have 2 DC's running server 2003 SP1 and 1 Exchange 2003 SP2 box.... Any Ideas?

Are you saying that you try to connect through outlook and can't?Or that you checked the store and tried to see if the mailbox object is created after enabling the user?Its by design that the actual mailbox object in the store is not created until someone logs into the store using Outlook.

I am having the same issue. The mailbox does not show up in the Store and the user cannot connect via Outlook. I also noticed that on the poprerties page for the AD user entry under Exchange email addresses, no addresses were created. We're using Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 Server. We have two AD machines the one just described and another running Windows 2000. Alll service packs are current.

It sounds like your RUS is not running. Make sure that isassigned anactiveExchange server and Global Catalog server. You can also right clickonit and have it force an update. If that doesn't do it for you, there are a lot of other things you can do. Check out the links below for some more guidance. Same issue. Create a new user account, the wizard seems to complete, but no copying occurs, finish comes up, but no email account is created, outlook does not recognize the new user as being available to create an account. Tried to copy an existing account for a new user to copy permissions, created a new email account. Same issue. Chris4b
