Hi,

Can we install Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003 64 Bit Edition?

I have gone through link : http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2005/07/11/407529.aspx and mentioned as,  Exchange 2003 cannot be installed on Windows 2003 64 Bit.The major reason for this limitation is that the Installable File System (ExIFS) driver runs under 32-Bit Kernel mode. Exchange Server 2003 doesn't include an Installable File System (ExIFS) 64-Bit driver version.Running 32 Bit Kernel mode drivers under 64 Bit Windows 2003 is not supported.

Please help me.

Did you think about running Exchange in virtual machine on that server where you have Win2003 64-bit?

Yes, I have win 2003 SP2 64 bit as virtual machine and trying to install EXCH 2003 on it.

That is not supported. I guess that you have no other option but to install 32-bit VM.

Damird is right. Exchange 2003 can't be installed on 64-bit.

Exchange Server 2003 does not run on 64-bit editions of Windows Server 2003.
