Cannot Install Exchange on Server 2008
Server 2008 Standard with SP1 installed on 64-bit machine with 6gb of memory. I tried to install Exchange 2007 on it by beginning with setup /prepareAD. It starts and then stops by saying it cannot install on the operating system that is running. What gives?

HI, I am assuming you are trying to install Exchange 2007 RTM version on Windows 2008.I would like to let you know Exchange 2007 RTM version doesnt support to install on windows 2008.You need a minimum Exchange 2007 SP1 to install exchange on Windows 2008.Refer below TechNet article.
