Cannot Read Emails VIA Outlook for Web Access (OWA) in IE7, but Firefox browser works with no problems
An employee contacted me today because she could not access her email via Outlook for Web Access. She can log in and can see all of her folders in the left panel; however, the main window that displays the emails shows the message "The website cannot display the page." I can access OWA just fine when using the Firefox browser. It just started happening maybe a day or two ago. Could the problem be an SSL certificate issue on the Exchange Server hosting OWA? I'm scraching my head as to why it just started happening. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Exchange version information would be of use here. Without that it is hard to say much else. Have you checked the SSL certificate hasn't expired? Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources

Hi tcwibechsupport, Per your description, it seems not related with the SSL certificate. Which version of your exchange do you use? I would suggest that you could update your exchange and your client OS for the latest version/kb. If the issue just happened on day or two, it is difficult to detmine what is the exact cause. I appologize for not replying sooner. I figured out the problem, but got sidetracked and never made it back here to post what happened. The person who configured the Exchange Server (2003) configured a 9GB OS partition. This partition was out of disk space. I ran the disk cleanup utility and freed up nearly 2GB of space. Problem solved. I didn't think it could be an SSL certificate issue, because I could log in, and Firefox worked. Apparently Firefox doesn't care that much about 0 disk space, but Internet explorer 8 was a bit grumpy. Thanks for your replies.

Interesting. I guess always make sure you have plenty of space for the OS and Exchange.
