Installaing a brand new exchange org Server 2008, Exchange2007 sp2 (no exisiting exchange environment), parent child, domain DC server 2003SP2-functional level 2003(both child and parent) Ran setup /prepareschema it was successful. (in the domain with the schema master-parent) Ran setup /preparead /organizationname:EXCHANGE2007 (ran in parent as well) Ran setup/ preparedomain:childdomain (on parent) Get error: CN=Mircosoft Exchange System Object... already exsisted tried to run on server in child same error Can the object Mircosoft Exchange System Object be deleted without issue? So preparedomain will run properly? Since its a fresh org?

See this - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125224.aspx "Run setup /PrepareDomain or setup /pd to prepare the local domain. You don't need to run this in the domain where you ran Step 3. Running setup /PrepareAD prepares the local domain." So if the /preparead has already been run no need. Verify if this is you situation. Also see step 4 and check if the other object/config exisit, if they do then you dont need to run /preparedomain Sukh

So preparedomain will run properly? Since its a fresh org? So it wont let you prepare the child domain? Can you post the exact error from the setup logs? How long did you wait after running setup /PrepareAD? I assume you have the required permissions.
