Cannot add delegates to calendar-
Had a user who could not add a delegate in outlook 2007, sp1.
error:
The Delegates settings were not saved correctly. Unable to activate send-on-behalf-of list. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object.
Account in AD, properties, Security, selected "Self" and checked "Allow" for Write personal information and Write exchange personal information. Exited outlook, went back in, and he was able to add a delegate.
HOWEVER.... Now when I look at the account in AD, these fields have been CLEARED.
What the heck is going on here?
Anyone else see this?

There is a hot fix for this -- but read the warnings carefully. (You have to request the fix from MSFT.

Thanks Roman,
Please let me know if it works for you.
The thing that seems really strange about this is that it looks like the hotfix is applied to the client- so basically the hotfix affects outlook, which then in turn affects the AD properties for the user's permissions- just seems a little wierd, but if it works, it works. ^_^
