I have a problem with Ntbackup and the exchange store not listed in ntbackup on the local server when I go to try and do a backup. I have tried restarting all exchange services and rebooting the server. Andif I try to use ntbackup from our backup server and select remote store it says "the specified computer is not a exchange server" ? The backup was working fine two days ago and now has just stopped, no changes were made to the server and event viewer indicates no errors and there are no other problems with this server, exchange itself functions properly. I am running Windows Server 2003 R2, SP2 andExchange server 2003 SP2 Any ideas?

Having the same problem, any ideas? Same configuration. Only on one of my boxes...others are fine. The box did have a hard shutdown recently, dunno if that could be the cause as it was working previously. After doing a normal restart of the server....no change. Oddly, after another hard shutdown (power outage), it was back again.
