Cannot delete a public folder
In outlook, someon accidentally created a caldendar inside of another calendar. When I tried to delete is from within Outlook, I received the error:
This error may be the result of trying to delete more than 4,000 messages at
one time. Outlook can delete no more than 4,000 messages when it is working
with a server message store.
To avoid this error, delete fewer than 4,000 messages in a single
operation.
It is also possible that you do not have the appropriate permissions to
delete messages. If you need to delete content from a folder owned by someone
else, contact the owner of the folder to obtain the necessary permissions, or
have the owner delete the content for you.
From the Public Folder Management Console, I can not delete it either.

I do see that this Calendar has what appears to be an endless amount of calendars by the same name underneath it.
> Calendar
> Calendar
> Calendar (and so forth. I've gone out to over 200 instances)
Does anybody have any suggestions for dealing with this situation?

Can you delete the very bottom calendard entry and work your way up either via Outlook/OWA or mfcmapi?
If not, I would open a case with Microsoft support

I have yet to find the bottom folder. It appears to be an endless loop.

I would call Microsoft support. If its happening now they can help track it down.

Hi
Maybe it isnt workaround. If I were you, I would backup public database (except broken public folder) to pst and
recreate public database.

Use http://mfcmapi.codeplex.com/ to get rid of the folder structure. Make sure you backup the Mailbox / Database before deleting the same.
