We are using Exchange 2007 and SCC , During dismount the database in EMC, i got the error, Also if I dismoun the database on the "Failover Cluster Management" And the error message is "Cluster resource 'STG01/STG01-MDB01' in clustered service or application 'MBXServer' failed." Any ideas? Thanks

Not only 1 database, I tried around 3 database. have this type of event log in Application Log (event ID 1005,1031) Exchange Information Store Instance (EXMBP00): The RPC call to get database status failed. Clustered Mailbox Server: EXMBP00) Physical Server: EXCLP01 The IsAlive check for the resource Exchange Information Store Instance (EXMBP00) failed.

What Exchange Service Pack and Windows is deployed? It could be some problems with heartbeat network http://support.microsoft.com/kb/258750/en-us. You should use ExBPA to identify problem.
