Cannot find the Recipient Update Service responsible for domain 'DC=XXX,DC=com'. New and existing users may not be properly Exchange-enabled If you get the 1st error "Cannot fine the RUS...." but all your DC's are W2K3 SP1 can you ignore and continue on with the 2. Setup /PrepareSchema 3. Setup /PrepareAD 4. Setup /PrepareDomain What about if you get the same error with Setup /PrepareSchema but if finished with all completed. There is a new OU on the root called MS Exchange Security Groups with the usual USG's Also there is a new global group in the MS Exchange System Objects container called Exchange Install Domain Servers etc so all looks OK Cheers LM

Hey Lord, Actually those are warnings mentioning that the domain doesn't have RUS allocated because it doesn't have any Exchange recipients so setup will not fail due to fact that it is just a warning, not an error in that case. Yes, if all USGs and MESO group created then verification is completed for ADpreparation... Amit, Thanks for replying - again - :-) I am helping keeping you guys busy.. Phew - looks OK then. I have run BPA E2K7 Readiness Check post schema update and all is OK bar the Link State Updates - which I need to schedule on on the E2K3 servers I know the MSExchange articles you mention - a great site indeed.. :-) Also done OCSR2 prep and received no errors in the verification stages. Xiu, Thanks.. I didn't manually run setup /pl in each domain but carried on with the rest of the schema preps. Looking at the setup log it seems to do the /pl for domains where it can fine Exchange and warn about the ones it cant.. if I am reading things correctly..
