I recently (8/12/15) had a Presenter that was unable to join the Live Meeting session he was scheduled to present on . He had previously used Live Meeting as a presenter, but when he went to use it this time, it did not recognize the rtc launch.
He said his system no longer had LM installed on it. However, he had not removed it. He was not able to re-install because he was in a locked down environment. The web-based version would not launch either. For the session I pushed his slides.
He then went to his IT department to have LM re-installed, and found out that many people within his organization at Verizon had the same or similar experience. This is his quote after speaking with IT:
"I heard from several Verizon people who joined that they all had the same issue with Live Meeting. They had to join audio only. Seems like Live Meeting is creating an issue with IT security where it can (in some cases) be downloaded and then it is removed the next time you log in at Verizon. In other cases, people cant even get it downloaded. This may be a Verizon specific issue at moment not sure if you are getting feedback from others as well"
Is this a known issue? And if so, what is the work around?
