Cannot login OWA

Hi all,

I'm an End user, and use the laptop connecting the VPN.

When I try to access OWA, input domain\username and password, nothing happened.

I need to input the credentials again and again. Still cannot access, and no error pop-up.

I asked other colleagues who try to access OWA with VPN at home, and they said it worked well.

How can I solve this issue? Your suggestions please, both client or server side would be OK.

I'll contact the IT admin if this issue related to Server side.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Mavis

Hey Mavis,

Check if the owa url is published over the internet (Public dns should point toward the exchange server)

Are you seeing the OWA logon screen and when you enter your username and password nothing happens?  Or the OWA logon page doesn't display at all?

Hi Mavis,

Thank you for your question.

By your state, we know that VPN work correctly which dont block OWA, because other colleaguess owa work without any problems.

We suggest you contact Exchange administrator to check if the OWA was disabled on your mailbox. We could use the following command:

 Get-CASMailbox Identity <mailboxname>

If you could login owa in company and didnt login at home, you could skip the former steps. Then use the different browser or different client at home to check if the issue persist.

We could move the mailbox to different database to check if we could login owa.

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim

Hi all,

Thank for all of you.

@Philip, I can access OWA out of office before, so the OWA has been published. Thanks for your suggestion.

@B0ndoo7, I can see the OWA logon page. However when I try to input the domain\username and password, nothing happened. Thanks for your suggestion.

@Jim, this issue occurs on my personal laptop, non-domain joined machine. Generally, it should be work. Thanks for your tips on the browser. Sometimes IE settings or credential caches may cause this strange issue. So I try to reset my IE, and this issue was resolved. Thanks for your suggestion.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Mavis
