Cannot manage Distribution group membership when two exchange accounts are configured in outlook.

Hi,

I am using outlook 2013 and my exchange server is 2013 too.

I have a distribution group named "alias@mydomain.com" and my user "rishi.pandit@mydomain.com" is moderator of this DL and i was able to add/remove members from this.

Now, I own one more exchange account as "team@mydomain.com" and i configured the same in outlook 2013 as an exchange account and what i see is i am unable to edit the DL  "alias@mydomain.com"

My default account in outlook is "rishi.pandit@mydomain.com" still i cant edit the DL. As i delete the account "team@mydomain.com" from outlook or configures it (team@mydomain.com) as an IMAP i am able to moderate "alias@mydomain.com". Any Clue ???

Error message :- "Changes to the distribution list membership cannot be saved. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object."

My Exchange server 2013 and outlook both are having latest updates installed. Thanks in Advance.

All the causes are irrelevant.

When i have only "rishi.pandit@mydomain.com" in my outlook, i am able to edit the DL.

When i configure "team@mydomain.com" as exchange along with "rishi.pandit@mydomain.com" in same outlook profile it stops getting edited.

When i configure "team@mydomain.com" as IMAP along with "rishi.pandit@mydomain.com" in same outlook profile it STARTs getting edited.

When i configure "team@mydomain.com" as exchange along with "rishi.pandit@mydomain.com" in same outlook profile it stops getting edited. At this time if i use OWA by "rishi.pandit@mydomain.com" i am able to edit it.

Conclusion- Problem starts whenever i configure 2nd exchange account in same profile and this 2nd account dont have permissions on this alias.

Note- this is happening with all users irrespective of aliases and users.

Issue has been resolved by not configuring any additional account in outlook.

We gave full control delegation to My Id on team@mydomain.com. After this, my oulook got a new mailbox in it i.e. team@mydomain.com. This resolved the issue.

After this, new issue had arrived that i cannot send emails using team@mydomain.com. Just a small this solved it. I just went to new email - options - From. This gave me new option to select the from address to send email. There i clicked on "Other email Address" and just typed team@impetus.co.in.
