Cannot uninstall Exchange 2007 evaluation server
We have two production exchange servers running exchange 2007. For purposes of testing our backup we installed a 90 day evaluation copy of Exchange on a new server. After running our tests we are attempting to remove the evaluation copy of Exchange.
During the uninstall, we can remove the mailbox and client access roles but not the Hub Transport role. The error shown is: "You must be a member of the 'Exchange Organization Administrators' group, or 'Enterprise Admins' group to remove all
roles from this computer." The account we are logged into the server with is a member of both of these groups. Also, we cannot run setup.com :mode/uninstall due to a version mismatch. If we just remove the server from the domain and
shut it off, we still get a warning message when opening EMC that there is an unlicensed server.
Can anyone tell us how to remove this copy of exchange from the server without messing up the production Exchange environment?
Any help is appreciated!

Version mismatch? What Exchange SP Level is the eval server at and are you using the same SP binaries to run setup?

Hi AHEC IT,
"Also, we cannot run setup.com :mode/uninstall due to a version mismatch."
"If you do not remove the Update Rollups and you use Setup.com from the bin folder, the following error message will be displayed:
The is a version mismatch between the running application and the installed application. "
