I'm using microsoft office word 2007 and my computer restarted and when i opened up word again the file didnt automatically pop up instead i had to find the file. However I cannot open the file because it says " this file is unsupported" and it is an asd file. I am downloading office service pack 1 hoping that will fix this problem. does anyone know whether this will or will not fix the problem and what else I can do. I can see my file but i just cant open it. so frustrating.

I would of liked to know the answer to this too! Seeing I was in the middle of my finals doing an essay and Windows decided to download an update and reboot my computer and I lost a couple hours of work.
