Certain people cant email public folder
I have an issue that started today with Exchange 2010 SP1. We have a mail enabled public folder. Everyone could send to this folder fine without issue. There are also 4 people setup with send as permissions. As of today the people with send as permissions can not send an email to the folder as themselves. Everyone else can. The email appears in their sent items in Outlook. In the delivery report through ECP the email shows up as delivered, in the message tracker though there is no evidence at all that the email hit the exchange server at all. The same issue occurs when they send an email from OWA. I have sent a test email from my outlook with their email as the from address. This worked. I am in the process of removing one of them from the send as list to test if that changes anything. Can anyone think of what else that I may have to look into?Zac Avramides

What had happened is 2 of our datastores had moved (as to why we are not sure) to our DR mail server. People from those 2 stores were having the email handled by that server which also has a public folder replica. This is why it showed up in the delivery reports but not tracking from the main server. Tracking from the other server showed all the emails.Zac Avramides
