Change default e-mail
Hello,
I have a user which currently has full access permission to a mailbox which it's account is not being used to log into the domain. However now I want the user to have his default e-mail set to that of the additional mailbox.
Is there any other way of obtaining the same result without having the user use a different login for the domain which is that of the additional mailbox. This to avoid having to re-install all programs and setting of profile.

Would OWA not be a good compromise?

Sorry I did not understand how OWA can solve this issue of changing the default e-mail to that of the additional mailbox and also Outlook is required

You can create a new or change the default mail profile for Outlook in the control panel. Specify the different mailbox in the Mail Profile and when the user opens Outlook they will have the other mailbox opened just as if they logged in as that user.
They need full access to this other mailbox, which you said they already have.
If the user just needs to read that mail you can also configure Outlook to open it as an additional mailbox.
Is this what you are trying to accomplish? Just want to make sure I understand what you are trying to do.

Ok and from the new mail profile they can send e-mails from that same e-mail address by enabling the From and choosing the correct e-mail account right ?

Or it will become the dafault for that profile ?

In the Mail Profile you can specify which Profile should be started when Outlook is launched, or it can prompt the user to select. Once UserA is logged in and opens Outlook and selects the profile that opens UserB's email, they can send/receive mail
as that user. It's as if they logged in as that user. The drawback to this is if the user needs to switch back and forth between profiles alot it requires closing and opening Outlook each time.
Still not really sure what you are looking for, but I think what you are asking is that UserA needs to use an email account called UserB and you don't want to recreate their windows profile. If that's the case creating/modify the outlook profile will
do the trick.
Also if they just need to receive mail for specifc SMTP address this can changed in Exchange. You can add an SMTP alias or change their default SMTP Reply Address.
Another option is for UserA to continue to use their mail and also open UserB's mail, but send messages on their behalf or send as the other user. For example a personal assistant being able to send mail for an executive and it appear that the executive
sent it.
Which scenario best fits what you are trying to accomplish?

The problem I found with this setup:
In the Mail Profile you can specify which Profile should be started when Outlook is launched, or it can prompt the user to select. Once UserA is logged in and opens Outlook and selects the profile that opens UserB's email, they can send/receive mail
as that user. It's as if they logged in as that user. The drawback to this is if the user needs to switch back and forth between profiles alot it requires closing and opening Outlook each time.
Is that when the user opens a different profile to check another users e-mail he is prompted for authentication of that user and it will continue to do so for each profile.
Is there a way to avoid asking for authentication each time ?

If you assign UserA Full Mailbox permissions on UserB's mailbox then UserA should not be prompted for credentials when logging into UserB's Outlook profile.
As you've probably worked out, the biggest problem is that you can't have two MAPI profiles open at the same time. A common workaround for this is to have Outlook open for one user and use OWA for the other user. That way you effectively have
two mailboxes open at the same time.

I gave full permission on users B C and D mailboxes and send permission as well for user A, however when user A opens Outlook and select one of these profiles a prompts asks to insert the correct authentication and at the bottom right of Outlook shows
NEED PASSWORD.
