Change the display name in SBS Exchange 2003 R2
I have recently set up the above server, using the pop connector to retrieve mail. Some users have email addresses which differ from their display names in ADeg: the username is "john", but the email address which John uses is "info@domain.com"so when an email is sent out from this address, the recipient gets a mail with the following details:From: John [info@domain.com]Is their any way to change this so that only the email address (info@domain.com) appears in the recipients inbox, and not the username (John)? Or even if just "Info" appears instead of John. In other words, I want the account to appear generic to outsiders, even if it actually isn't.I would prefer to avoid having to recreate accounts and mailboxes if possible, as there are quite a few mailboxes like this.Any suggetions would be much appreciated!

Try this one, but this will disable the display name of all users for outbound mails. Exchange System Manager ->Global Settings-> Internet Message Formats-> Default -> properties-> Advanced tab-> uncheck "Preserve Sender's Display Name on messages"
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now
