Changing Default SSL OWA port from 443 to another port?
Hello Everyone I am currently trying to look for some information in regards to changing the default OWA port from 443 to port 9090. The reason I am doing this is because we are installing a new application server that requires 443 and currently our router forward all 443 request to our exchange server. So I will be forwarding all 443 request to our new application server instead. I plan to redirect the old OWA address to the new port via http redirect through IIS to the new port.

It might depend on the version of Exchange you are running, and the version of Windows Server.-- Ed Crowley MVP"There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems.". Also, may I suggest that a better way to handle this might be to implement an TMG or ISA server in your DMZ that can route the traffic based on URL?-- Ed Crowley MVP"There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems.". Hi,We recommend to use ISA and SSL offloading if you dont want to use port 443. Changing the port on OWA is not supported.Regards,Xiu
