Changing sender ID on incoming mail with Exchange Server 2003
This is a weird request involving Exchange server 2003 enterprise. We have email coming from an important source that is being delivered from the sender with email sender ID of noreply@daptiv.com I have contacted the sender and they will not change the sender ID. We would like to change the sender ID once received from noreply@daptiv.com to ITProjectStatus@daptiv.com We do not want to do a mailbox redirect as email from this source is going to multiple people internally. Reason being is email with noreply address is winding up in junk email folders and being deleted. We want to put a more meaningful sender ID so it is not treated as junk in Outlook and mail clients. Is this possible within Exchange settings ?

Do you want to address another E-mail address as Primary address for this account? You could change it in Active Directory Users and Computers: ADUC>Find the account>E-mail addresses>New>SMTP>Set as Primacy Mike
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now
