sorry for off-top, I'd like to know if I need to enable checksum scanning along with online defragmentation? Standalone Exchange 2007 sp1, 450Gb mail db, backing up with DPM 2010. Thanks!

Sure, why not? 

Exchange 2007 SP3 plus the latest RU is the latest supported update and as 2007 is in extended support till 2017, its probably time to upgrade. At a very minimum, SP1 is definitely not supported.

Thank you Andy. I'm very cautious with Exchange db, working with Exchange 5.5 many years ago. Is it safe to turn it on and go for an update to sp3? This mail server is in production, working 24/7.

Well, ensure you have a good backup and any 3rd party products are supported with SP3, but yes, its "safe" to turn it on.
