have a child domain controller inside a primary domain controller and I can not get Exchange to install. I get the following error when running a domain prep: D:\>setup /PrepareAD /OrganizationName:northern-pharmacy Welcome to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Unattended Setup Preparing Exchange Setup No server roles will be installed Performing Microsoft Exchange Server Prerequisite Check Organization Checks ......................... FAILED Setup needs to contact the Active Directory schema master but this computer is not in the same Active Directory domain as the schema master (DC=northernpha rmacy,DC=com). Setup encountered a problem while validating the state of Active Directory: Exchange organization-level objects have not been created, and setup cannot cre ate them because the local computer is not in the same domain and site as the sc hema master. Run setup with the /prepareAD parameter on a computer in the domai n northernpharmacy and site Northern-Pharmacy, and wait for replication to compl ete. The Exchange Server setup operation did not complete. Visit http://support.micro soft.com and enter the Error ID to find more information. Exchange Server setup encountered an error. I also get the following error when running the setup inside the child domain. I can ping the primary domain by DNS name but Exchange 07 will not install.
