Good Day,
I am hoping that somebody can help me understand how something works so I can better
understand how the command works. I know that this is a Exchange 2013 forum, I am running Exchange 2010 but the command should be similar and the basics should not have changed much
When I delete a mailbox the mailbox then goes into the disconnect mailbox, in 30 days
or about the mailbox is deleted (I believe you need a full backup also)
So here is my question is the mailbox deleted or is it still in the system and you need to
run the Clean-mailboxdatabase command to really remove/delete the mailbox?
In reading this command it seems like even after the mailbox is deleted the mailbox is not
really deleted. It was my impression that after you delete the mailbox and it
is then held and then deleted after a set time.
Thanks
