After my exchange server got crashed(exchange2k7), I am reinstalling it on Win2k3 SP2.but I got some error when installing Client Access Role Client Access Role Failed Error: Exchange server "MYLAB.COM/Configuration/Deleted Objects/Servers DEL:90b74ce5-37f8-4fd3-8d1c-8931a5fbadb5/XCHNGSRV1 DEL:7d22366c-42ab-4ec2-8eb6-5b03b8c1a930" was not found. On your server, open ADSIEdit.msc and goto Configuration section and move to section Deleted Objects/Servers remove this object DEL:90b74ce5-37f8-4fd3-8d1c-8931a5fbadb5/XCHNGSRV1 DEL:7d22366c-42ab-4ec2-8eb6-5b03b8c1a930" if it exists. But here is the problem... There is no such object: Deleted Objects/Servers under Configuration Section

Please check the traces above the “DEL” error in the installation log It’s possible that the “DEL” entry is in the “offLineABServer” attribute, please verify if it’s the cause (Reference) Is the crashed CAS server the first installed exchange 2007 server in the organization? Thanks for your reply. But the solution is different. It is due to OAB which is already exist in directory trying to connect to the old server. So here is the solution: {ADSIedit.msc Configuration Section>Services>Microsoft Exchange><Organization>>Address list Container>Offline Address List Here delete the listed OAB. After doing this I have successfully installed Client Access server role. Regards, San
