Client sent email but it was never sent???
Have an odd issue... Client is using Outlook 2007 and cached mode is NOT enabled. The client is connected to Exchange 2003 (I haven't moved this user to 2010 database yet) and the other day they sent an emai which is in their sent items. The recipient complained they never recieved it the following day so the client went back to the sent items and forwarded it again. The recipient then recieved the email. I went to the message tracking and don't see the original message was ever sent at all, but I do see the forwarded message was sent and delivered. What other troubleshooting can I do to find out why the original email is in their sent items, but it was never really sent?

I opened the log file from the exchange server for that day and searched by the subject title... I was able to find something in the log with the same subject title and the sender and receivers email address, but I don't know how to decipher the log.... 2010-10-25 19:55:1 GMT - - - EX1 - sender@domain.com 1027 C8EB58D5.48AC%receiver@domain.com 0 0 874849 1 2010-10-25 19:55:1 GMT 0 - c=US;a= ;p=CompanyName;l=EX1-101025195501Z-1310 Subject Title reciever@domain.com - personal information has been replaced.
