Client side rules question
Hi
Outlook 2007, EX2007
I have setup a client side rule for any messages that are send with a word on the subject line to be copied in to another mailbox.
This works fine from the Outlook client but not from a BB or OWA.
I know this is supposed to be like this.
Now If I run the rule manually on the Sent Items box, this doesn't work either, ie the messages are not copied over to the other mailbox.
Is there a way around this?
Thanks, Maelito

It looks like the only 2 available triggers for an Outlook rule are "Check messages when they arrive" and "Check messages after sending". Neither of these will be triggered based on email that was received when the client was not active.Possible workarounds - Use a Hub Transport rule to copy the messages.Script it using COM/Outlook.Script it using Exchange Web Services.

Hi,Did you mean the rule was created by Outlook? If it was, did you create the rule by using OWA or BB?For this issue, I suggest you create a Hub Tranport rule to replace the clien side rule, then check this issue.ThanksAllen
