Client without Domain Account
Dear Forum,
ist it possible the serve clients (email accounts) having no domain account ? the client have only a local windows xp account.

Not really sure what you're asking. Just create an account for them in ADUCand use the Account tab -> Log On To features if you want to restrict domain logon access. They'll be able to check their email still, but won't be able to log onto any computers in the domain.

If you just want them to show up in the GAL, then you can create a contact for them. However this does not store email on the server for them. If you want to store email on the server, you will need to create a user account as mailboxes are tied to user accounts.
This doesn't mean the user has to log on to the domain, they can still keep logging on to their XP box locally. It's just when they connect to their mailbox with Outlook/Outlook Web Access/Whatever they will need to provide their domain username and password.
