Clients cannot connect to mailboxes moved from 2010 to 2013

We have sbs2011 with exchange, and I have been trying to migrate exchange from 2010 on the sbs2011 box to 2013 sp1 on a separate 2012 R2 domain member server (not a DC).

Things seemed to go ok, and I moved a test users mailbox to 2013.

Now, it seems that outlook cannot connect to that user's mailbox (Outlook 2010 or outlook 2013).

It picks up that it should connect to the 2012server, and autocompletes the username etc, but won't connect to exchange.

old users, that have not had their mailboxes moved are ok, and still connect to the sbs2011 server.

Hard to say. I've had to change the router to point to the old server as mail wasnt getting in. But OWA did seem ok, although I couldn't send messages... I could only see the inbox and contacts etc.

I raised a service ticket with Microsoft, and after three hours of remote assistance, they managed to sort it out.

Cheers anyway.
