Comparison of item level permissions within Public Folder
Hi there For purpose of troubleshooting anomalies where one item seems to behave differently to another item within the same folder in a Public Folder structure, is there any way of comparing the assigned /inherited permissions at an item level. It seems one item is being affected by an "access denied" and the other not. My understanding of Public Folders was that permissions are assigned at a folder level, which then filters down to the items within that folder. Stephane

You can use PFDAVAdmin/ExFolders (depending on your Exchange version) to look at the ACLs on the individual items. They will tell you quickly if item-level permissions have been set.
