Configue Ip address in message header
Hello, My exchange server is attaching the address of my router to my emails header rather than the address of the exchange server, is this configurable soomewhere in exchange? This is causing me lots of problems as the service that BT provide me gives a static address to my router and as I'm sure you will all know alot of organisations will not receive messages that seemto have come from a dynamic address. Any help is greatfully appreciated. Karl Atkins.

My guess is that your router is also acting as an SMTP relay. Can you post a copy of your SMTP headers here that someone sees when you send a message. Just clean upyour domain name and realIP address.Use @acme.com or something as the SMTP domain name.
