Configuration container in ADSI Edit
Hello,We are running Exchange 2003 SP 2 on Windows Server 2003 Standard SP 2.I am trying to followMSarticle 318237 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318237), but after connecting to the domain in ADSI edit and expanding the Domain Naming Context (Domain NC) hierarchy the configuration container does not appear. Can anyone tell me why it's not appearing?Our exchange server is generatingthe following errors from earliest to latest:Event id 9126 (Category: OAL Generator Source: MSExchangeSA)Event id 9332 (Category: OAL Generator Source: MSExchangeSA)Event id9305 (Category: OAL Generator Source: MSExchangeSA)Thank you.

You can even manually connect to Configuration container . Select the Connect to option http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc773354%28WS.10%29.aspx If your account donot have sufficient permission you wont be able to see all partitions of AD.Vinod

Sorry for the delay.I finally figured out why I couldn't see the config container. I was running the adsi edit tool from the mmc console instead of running adsiedit.msc directly. I guess for some reason the configuation and schema containers do not show up in adsi edit when accessed from the mmc console.Thank you for your help!
