Contact doesn't show up
I created a new contact in OWA 2003 and saved that contact. I logged out of OWA and the next morning I logged in my regular exchange account at work. I went to contact and I found my new contact that I had entered but when I created a new e-mail and I went to select that new contact to send an email, that contact did not show up. Can you please tell me why this does not show up. Thank you Greg Smith

By "regular exchange account" do you mean Outlook? Both OWA and Outlook would log in to the same Exchange account, or else you'd have no reason to expect the contact to be present. Is Outlook running in cached mode? Do you see the contact in the contacts folder in which you created it? What if you turn off cached mode, does it show up then? Do you see it in OWA? If you see the contact in the folder, but you can't pick it to address a message, is the folder defined as avaliable in the Outlook Address Book? Hi Greg, As Ed said, Both OWA and Outlook would log in to the same Exchange account. If you cannot see the contact when using outlook, please follow these steps to troubleshoot: Step 1. On Outlook, click Tools->Send/Receive->Send/receive All. Then create a new message, click 'To' to open Address book. Then select "Contacts" under "Address Book" list. What's result? Do you see the contact. Step 2. If the issue persists, please test the problem in outlook online mode: a. Click Tools->Options->Mail setup tab->E-mail Accounts. b. Highlight the outlook account, click Change. c. Uncheck the "Use Cached Exchange mode" checkbox and restart the outlook. What's result?
