HiI have imported contacts from outlook express.They are shown in contacts but when I create any rule then it does not show contacts but shows GAl and other contacts.Is there any way out.Thanks Harpreet

If you imported contact in your Exchange mailbox and not in PST, the information resides on exchange server in your mailbox. When you create a rule, instead of GAL select contacts from dropdown. You should be able to select your personal contacts and create a rule around it.

Hi, What's the version of the Exchange? Did you create the rule on the server side or client side? Could you view the contact under Outlook Address Book when click Contacts after opening Address Book? If you create the rule on the client side, it does view the contact under Outlook Address Book when click Contacts. If you create the rule on the server side, the contact is unavailable since it is not stored in AD but in PST. Thus, we need to import the contact in AD.
