We have just migrated from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2007. I have 2 users 1 John W Doe username JWDoe and one John Doe username JDoe. After the transfer JDoe would have to select which email to open JWDoe or JDoe. Also we have several different client setup. Locall install of outlook 2003; local install of outlook 2000; citrix install of 2003. It seems that users in local outlook 2003 can not find JWDoe in the Global Address book but all other clients can. After comparing the account I noticed in ADUC JWDoe had JDoe as an email. I corrected this and it solved the Selection issue JDoe was having but Local Installs of Outlook 2003 still cannot select JWDoe as an email address. Very confused and any help or suggestions would be greatly apprecated.

Hi Ralph, How did you correct the email address of the account JWDoe, I would check it by below script to confirm the everthting is properly configured for JWDoe, get-mailbox username |fl If you confirm everthing ok, and then check the GAL through OWA. It there still has some issue, I would create a new mailbox for the account JWDoe, it is a easy and simple way. Regards! Gavin
