We have exchange 2007 CCR and there are 10 storage group configured. All the mailbox stores are mounted. But one of the mailbox store is showing initializing since past few days. both Active and passive servers are showing same. In Active node logs are there but in passive mode showing todays logs and below files and folders .edb file, tmp.edb, res.jrs, catalogdata folder, inspectore folder, and ignoredlogs folder. Kindly any one help me what should i do to bring back copy status healthy and both node should maintian same logs.

Hi Akhter , Firstly suspend all the storage groups configured for Continous Replication: First you need to reseed the database.This can be done using one of the following ways: Seeding using the Update-StorageGroupCopy cmdlet: You can use the Update-StorageGroupCopy cmdlet in the Exchange Management Shell to seed a storage group copy. You can also use the Update Storage Group Copy wizard in the Exchange Management Console to seed a storage group copy. Manually copying the offline database: This process dismounts the database and copies the database file to the same location on the passive node. If you use this method, there will be an interruption in service because the procedure requires you to dismount the database. The SG which is showing initializing having any mailbox created ??. See if therer is no any mailbox created in any SG in CCR then you can see this kind of behaviour. If mailbox's are exist in Sg then simple I will advise you to Suspend that SG and run cmdlet update-storagegroupcopy -ide "SG" -deletexisiting Please update once you don this.Anil

Hi shafaqaut Thanks for the reply. So i need to go to passive node, then suspend the SG which is showing initializing then reseeed by EMC. This will balance the logs in boht node? To Anil yes it;s contains most of the users mailbox.
