Copying Mounted Mailbox Database
Pleasedo anyone know any tools out there that can help me copy mounted mailbox database to different location, because i discover that the MDBData in exchange 2003 has some corrupt file it and i want to move it to different location and fix it, because the mailbox is been access 24-7, i cannot dismount the database, so i need a tool that will allow me to copy it to different location.Pls i need help!!RegardVicAbh

How did you know that it has
corrupted files? Do
you get any error in event log or users complaining?
Besides there isn't any method to
copy mounted
mailbox database (except Exchange online backup) and whatever
maintenance you do
on database you need to perform by dismounting original database
otherwise when
you perform maintenance on second database which wascopied and at
that
time original mounted database will continue doing transaction, now when
you
mount/restore corrected copy of database users will be in lose of those
mails
send/received after copying database.

There is no way to copy a mounted database directly. Amits explanation is very clear.
