Corporate outlook calendar
We have a user base of some 350 permenant staff and about 100 part time staff all using Outlook 2003/2007 our backend is currently Exch 2003 but we're shortly moving up to Exch 2007. Our Vice chancellor and SMT are requesting a way of adding entries to everyones calendar at the same time, such as when exam dates are released they want to be able to put the entry in once and it populatel calendars for all staff. Is this possible in 2003 or 2007 outlook or exchange, we only want to grant this ability to a handfull of senior members at most rather than everyone. Cheers

Hi,As my understand, when we have an exam, then an exam item should be added to all the Users calendar, is that true?Or want to have a resoure mailbox, someone can delegate it to send request to all the users?Shall we just send meeting request to all the users? Please help to clarify the issue with me.Regards,Xiu

Hello,Xiu mentioned the best way to send a meeting request to everyone and once they accept the meeting request, it will automatically adds to their calendar. or use a public folder calender for such activities and everyone can see the same. The problem with public calender folder, it will not give you alert or meeting notification.Arun Kumar | MCSE - 2K3 + Messaging | ITIL-F V3
