Count number of daily emails on Exchange 2007
This is a fairly straight forward question, but does anyone know how to track the number of email on Exchange 2007? I like to know how much email we are sending/receiving on a daily basis on Exchange 2007. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

You need to use the Message Tracking Logs to gather that information. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124926(EXCHG.80).aspx Thanks Will

As Will said, there isnt direct way to get number of message send/receive per day. You may need to get it from Message tracking log. You can also use Log Parser to scan message tracking logs and get the message count. You can use a simple technique. Create a folder and keep it empty. Whenever you want to count any number of any emails just select them and move them to that folder, it will give you the total. After that, you can simply select them again and return them to original folder.
