Create a group calendar
Hallo forum,I use MS Exchange 2003 installed on Win 2003 Server.Is there anybody so kind to give me a hint how I could create a calendar for a group that exists in the active directory?TIA, with kind regards,Quax

I think best option is to create Calendar in public folder and assign permission to the group.

Hi Quax,Yes, public folder calender is a better option. It doesn't require additional user license because it doesn't hold a mailbox but the limitation is, it doesn't publish free/busy so you can't really use it for advance scheduling.You can refer below article to create and configure the group calendar with resource mailbox...Creating Resource Mailboxes in Exchange 2000http://www.msexchange.org/pages/article.asp?id=543So decision is up to you, if you want basic scheduling then go for Public Folder otherwise use resource mailbox for group calendar with advance scheduling option like Free/Busy availability.Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
