Create seperate domain for subset of users
Hi at the minute our environment consists of 1 AD domain with a single Exchange organisation. In the Exchange Org we have 2 Administrative Groups. 1 with 2003 Ex servers and 1 with 2007 Ex servers. I will be phasing out the 2003 servers in the next month or so. After this I want to create a separate domain/Exchange Org for the management in our company. This is so this new domain/org can be managed by only approved admins and no one else whilst giving the rest of the admin team access to manage/administer the existing ex org. What would be the best way to achieve this? Thanks

First of all you will not be able to create seperate exchange org. Thumb rule is One exchange org in one AD forest. Now regarding the permissions, you can delegate permissons. The problem with the permission delegation is done at the global level in exchange org, so i doubt if that will solve your problem.Go through this, if that fits you http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/exchange-2007-permissions-and-roles-part1.htmlRaj
