Creating Outlook Security Settings public folder in Exchange 2007
Hi
We previously had Exchange 2003 server with Outlook 2003 on client pcs. We had
bypassed the Outlook 2003 security warning by implementing the Outlook Security Settings public folder. We have now switched to an Exchange 2007 server. I have a few questions;
1. Is Outlook Security Settings folder way of bypassing outlook 2003 security warnings
still valid for Exchange 2007?
2. I can't seem to find a way to create public folder in Exchange 2007. How do I create
Outlook Security Settings public folder in Exchange 2007?
3. If I create Outlook Security Settings within Outlook 2003 under Public folders
then when I try to open OutlookSecurity.oft from admin pack I get the 'The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form instead' error in Outlook 2003. The Outlook 2003 is on SP3 and I have cleared form cache (the two reasons for
this error) but no luck so I am wondering if Exchange 2007 has something to do with it. How can I fix this error?
Any help in bypassing Outlook Security warnings by setting up Outlook Security Settings
public folder would be appreciated.
Many Thanks
Regards
