Creating the RPC directory on the non default web site in IIS/windows 2k8
I have an Exchange 2007 SP2 on W2k8 Standard installation that I had to split the CAS into two web sites due to our internal AD FQDN not being owned by us, and being unable to get a third party cert issued.I spun up a CA, made a cert for internal, used a Digicert for external, and have two IP addresses (one for LAN CAS, one for NAT'd CAS essentially) and this all works fine - except outlook anywhere. For new-owavitualdirectory, new-activesyncvirtualdirectory there was a -WebsiteName "External OWA" that I could add to ensure the right vdir's were created on the non-default web site.So far, I have:Uninstalled and reinstalled RPC/HTTP - no luck - only creates on Default Web siteAttempted (poorly) to duplicate the /rpc folder on the other site (I admittedly don't know IIS7 well)Enable-OutlookAnywhere does not have any -websitename parameters. After some googling and binging last night, I think I need to do this using appcmd.exe - but I cannot find any solid documentation on how to go about making an RPC folder for a non default site. I did this before in IIS6 and Windows 2003 by backing up the vdir config to XML and importing on the other site, but that's no longer an option.Anyone else successfully replicate /rpc in a way that doesn't require me to learn IIS7 too much?

Also found this article, which LOOKED like it was going to be the fix, but I did everything in there and get 500 errors on the RPC directory :(http://blogs.msdn.com/saurabh_singh/archive/2008/08/30/troubleshooting-ts-gateway-connectivity-on-windows-2008-iis-7-0.aspx

FYI - the above ended up being the fix. I had to remove RPC over HTTP proxy, and "start over" on the process, but it did work, and I now pass the Exchange RCA!I will likely reblog this soon.
