Hello,
Whether you want to sync Gal between two forests? Im not familiar with MISS/ILM you said, but you can use MIIS/IIFP to sync GAL between two forests.
If you want to know more about the MIIS/IIFP, please refer below links about it.

hope it helps.

MIIS/Galsync is the way to go
There is a good Walkthrough on Technet

Now I'll throw out a little warning..
Beware of Mail enabled users and contacts!!
If your company is working closely with the other one you may already have contacts for them in your AD or even mail enabled users (not mailbox enabled) with SMTP addresses that match addresses in their ORG. and vice-versa
If you ask MMIS to sync over an account with a duplicate SMTP address it will happily do it..
It's not going to check or error out..That will cause all mail to NDRto that mailbox untill the conflictingaddress is changed or removed. Not that that will do much good.. MIIS will put it right back the next time it runs Gal-Sync.
Ypu will want to write rules to exclude those conflicting accounts from the sync.. We did that by having MIIS not sync accounts with "excluded"in one of the custom atribute fields..
