Cross forest editing of public folders
Hello,We have a multi-forest environment with Exhcange Server 2003 running and handling all email communications and public folder access. The exchange org is setup in forest.aWe have a second forest (forest.b)I need to be able to have users in forest.b be able to have edit rights to a public folder in forest.a's exhcnage environment. Is this possible? What steps do I need to take to make this happen?Thank you in advance for your response. It is much appreciated.Rich JNGSPRichard Johnston -MCSE

So, forest.a is a resource forest [The one has the exchange resource], and forest.b is a account forest [The one has the user accounts who need to access the exchange resource in forest.a]. Please correct me if I have misunderstood it To access the exchange resource in the resource forest, we need to build the trust between forests and the DNS resolution, please see this article. Also, user account from the account forest need to associate with a mailbox attached to a disabled user in the resource forest, please see this article Using a Dedicated Exchange Forest
