(Unable to see the Whiteboard, Projector etc) i checked in OWA ,same issue. Am using Outlook 2003 for clients. Please could you please help me to find the details (Description) in the ALL ROOMS(GAL)

Hi Please check the attribute "showInAddressBook" of the Meeting Room, using ADSIEdit or LDP. There should be the following entry: CN=All Rooms,CN=All Address Lists,CN=Address Lists Container,CN=[Organization],CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=[domain],DC=[local] Without that entry you won't see your meeting rooms etc in the GAL - All Rooms. Hi Pano I can able to bee the all the room ins GAL. but i can't see the custom Resources which i created for all the rooms like, white board, COffe Machibe...Projector.....etc... Hope you will undestand....

I'm not sure if I understand. You created a resource mailbox e.g. whiteboard. What kind of mailbox did you choose, room mailbox or user mailbox? You are able to see the whiteboard mailbox in the GAL, but not in All Rooms?

Hi, Based on my research and test in the lab, the Description tab in Address Book does not exist in Outlook 2003 and OWA. Hence, you will not see the custom Resource Properties. To view the information, you need upgrade Office version to Office 2007 or Office 2010. Thanks.Novak Wu-MSFT

Hi Navak, work great in OL 2007. I can be to see the "DESCRIPTION" for all rooms in GAL. Hopefully this implementaion works on only after OL 2003. that's from OL 2007. Thanks mate...
